Melograno Films is an award-winning international entertainment company that specializes in film and TV production, distribution and marketing. The company is based in Los Angeles with deep roots in Europe and was founded in 2013 by Eleonora Granata-Jenkinson.
Melograno Films’ recent slate includes the Venice Film Festival 2022 award-winning feature film Monica, directed by the Venice Film Festival Golden Lion Nominee Andrea Pallaoro and starring Trace Lysette (Hustlers), Oscar-nominee Patricia Clarkson (Sharp Objects) and Oscar-nominee Adriana Barraza (Babel).
Monica received two Independent Spirit Awards Nominations, Trace Lysette was nominated in the category Best Leading Performance in a Film for her role in the film and the film was also nominated for Best Cinematography.
Upcoming projects for Melograno Films include the hotly anticipated comedy The Temptation of Gracie, based on bestselling author Santa Montefiore’s book of the same name, as well as Supporting Role, the sophomore feature film of Locarno award-winner Ana Urushadze, whose previous film was Georgia’s entry for the 90th Academy Awards. Other upcoming projects are Matthew Rosenbaum’s horror-thriller The Damning of a Country Merchant, and Wayne Wang’s Diary of a Mad Old Man, adapted from the novel by Jun'ichirō Tanizaki.
